Ray Wolfe

Ray Wolfe is the State Youth Referees Coordinator for East New York.

He started playing in the German American Soccer League for a team called Kolping SC.  And then moved to BW Gottschee where he played and later coaches his son’s team in the Cosmopolitan Junior League for 6 years.

Started his refereeing career in 1985.  Got his National badge in 1992.   He was assigned to high level games as either the center ref or the linesman. Some of these  games include Equator vs Honduras , Shalken from Germany vs a team from Russia,  Did the line for the Women’s National team in Hershey Park  Norway vs China,  International friendly’s Palermo vs NY Select At St Johns University,  Armed Forces Tournament in Fort Lauderdale Fl. 

In 1993 was selected  to officiate the World Universe games in Niagara Falls with  FIFA referees from all over the world, was picked as linesmen to do the semifinals and finals.

In 2014 Ray Wolfe was inducted into the Eastern New York Hall of Fame!
